As part of our commitment to creating a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone, we are proud to highlight our private hair suite, which allows us to cater to the needs of hijab and headscarf wearing women, in a private, female only space in Ellesmere Port.

Around the world, women of many faiths and cultures choose to cover their hair or wear scarves as a symbol of modesty, spirituality, or tradition.

For some, it reflects their religious beliefs, while for others, it’s a personal or cultural expression of identity and empowerment. From Muslim women wearing the hijab to Christian nuns, Sikh women, and Jewish women wearing tichels, the practice spans diverse communities and carries unique meanings.

By understanding these choices, we can celebrate the rich diversity of women’s experiences and foster greater respect for their traditions.

We are proud to offer a private hair suite where clients can comfortably remove their headscarves and have their hair coloured, cut, and styled in a fully private, female-only space.

 Our suite currently accommodates two clients at a time, allowing friends or relatives to visit together—whether both are having their hair done or simply keeping each other company.

While our salon is owned by multi-award-winning hairdresser Richard Phillipart, he does not work on Mondays, making this the best day for a guaranteed female-only environment.

Our private suite is available every day of the week. On days when Richard is working, he may be with his client on the salon floor when your hair is due to be washed, but our layout ensures you can have your hair washed in an area out of his view, giving you complete confidence and peace of mind.

All hair services in our private suite aline with our tiered pricing structure and are available to book online or over the phone with all stylists - excluding Richard.
