At The Boutique Atelier, we are committed to shaping the future of hairdressing by training the next generation of stylists who will lead the industry. Under the guidance of Richard Phillipart, an award-winning hairdresser with a passion for nurturing talent, our apprentices receive exceptional education, support, and hands-on experience in a dynamic, inspiring environment.

Each summer, we welcome a new class of apprentices into our programme, designed to be completed in approximately three years. Our apprentices gain valuable experience by working five days a week, including one day dedicated to formal training at the esteemed Andrew Collinge Academy in Liverpool. At The Boutique Atelier, we invest in our apprentices by covering all education expenses and providing a wage while they train, ensuring that their focus remains on honing their skills.

Throughout their apprenticeship, our trainees benefit from weekly one-on-one, in-salon training sessions, where they practice their craft under the mentorship of our award-winning team. They also have the unique advantage of learning on the salon floor, observing and assisting talented hairdressers as they perform cutting-edge techniques and styles for our clients.

For apprentices who demonstrate outstanding skill and dedication, our program offers an advanced third-year placement on our Senior Apprentice team. This final year opens doors to incredible experiences, we are proud of the graduates of our apprenticeship program many of whom have earned top industry awards, worked at London Fashion Week and red-carpet TV events, participated in magazine photoshoots, opened their own salons, and assisted Richard on international stages in front of thousands.
