This has been recognised and highlighted by our inclusion to the "Strands for Trans" network, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to fostering a safe and affirming space for transgender individuals within the hairdressing industry. As pioneers in our commitment to inclusivity, we're honored to be recognized as the first transgender safe space salon in Cheshire by this incredible charity.
If required we offer a private room at the salon which allows for our trans and gender non conforming clients to talk about their hair in a discrete and nonjudgmental environment away from the main salon floor. This space can be used for consultations, colour services, hair cuts or for wigs and hair pieces to be sized and fitted in private.
From the very beginning, we have dedicated The Boutique Atelier to breaking barriers and challenging norms. We were the first salon in the area to embrace a gender-neutral approach, and our membership in the Strands for Trans network is a powerful validation of that decision.
